In this paper, by using MATLAB programming tools to design a variety of FIR digital filters and IIR digital filters, by observing the effect of the voice signal in different filters after adding noise. It is concluded that IIR filter has less computation and infinite impulse response to the human speech signal, and it has good stability and is clearer than FIR digital filter after many auditions. Under the same technical index, IIR filter can meet some requirements of the index with fewer orders than the FIR filter because of the feedback of output to input. Abstract
Digital filter is an important technique for human speech filter. Different digital filters produce different filtering effects. In this paper, by using MATLAB programming tools to design a variety of FIR digital filters and IIR digital filters, by observing the effect of the voice signal in different filters after adding noise.
