The sample of the study was accepted as the case study of Famagusta, Nicosia, İskele state secondary schools in the 3 districts of the Ministry of National Education in Northern Cyprus. The working group of the study is composed of 86 Turkish teachers working in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and Culture in North Cyprus, which are determined in accordance with purposeful and maximum diversity sampling. As a data collection tool, a written opinion form consisting of 5 open ended questions was used to create a storytelling story developed by the researcher. \"The interview form for the importance of using (ÖTÖY)in Turkish lesson\" was collected. n the study, teachers came to the conclusion that they contributed positively to their knowledge, skills and attitudes in the story-based learning approach from the new approaches. Abstract
