Abstract
To reduce the detent force by end effect, the auxiliary core which has the independent magnetic circuit is proposed in this paper. The auxiliary core is designed by the DOE (Design of Experiment) and FEA. And the prototype machine of auxiliary core is made and experimented. To demonstrate reduction effect of the detent force by the auxiliary core, the experimental results are compared with the analyzed results.
