In DC buildings, power routers are used to regulate the power flow among the power electronic interfaces. However, the existing standards and codes are focused on the high voltage level and extra low voltage level application, the implementation and the operation standard of the power routers in the DC building application have not received too much attention. In this paper, system-level guidance for power router applications in DC buildings is proposed. By the modification of the existing standards and the analysis of the DC building operation, the sizing guidance is proposed to satisfy any possible circumstances. Abstract

With the global interest in carbon neutrality, the renewable energy generation (REG) industry has developed rapidly in the past few decades.
