Abstract

Optical wireless communication (OWC) has attracted significant interest recently in industry and academia. In this talk, we will focus on LiFi networking which is high speed wireless networking with light. We will discuss the latest device technologies and system elements such as optical transceivers composed of massive transmitter and detector arrays. This talk will also review photovoltaic cells as high-speed data detectors towards energy self-sufficient optical wireless access.
