Abstract
This paper first describes an example radar antenna that have been defined at FOA in collaboration with Ericsson Microwave Systems, EMW. Then the simulation method and simulation settings are described. The simulated model errors were element position errors, amplitude and phase errors in the antenna channels and finally errors in the estimated number-of-targets. The latter is a MUSIC specific model error and is described in greater detail. Results from the simulations showed that only at very high error levels did the performance of MUSIC deteriorate to a level that is comparable to what conventional beam forming achieves.
