Abstract

Several MAC protocols such as S-MAC, T-MAC, DSMAC, and TEEM have exploited scheduled sleep/listen cycles to conserve energy in sensor networks. These protocols use periodic SYNC packet in their SYNC period to follow the same schedule with their neighbors.
