Abstract
CIM model provides a logical view of the physical aspects of distribution management system (DMS) information. This paper firstly presents the characteristic about CIM model used for state estimation of distribution system. Secondly, a brief introduction about the basic characteristics and requirements of three-phase state estimation of distribution system is given. Thirdly, this paper focuses on the branch current-based three-phase state estimation algorithm of distribution network, which selects the amplitude and phase of branch current as state variables. As the algorithm not only greatly simplifies the Jacobian matrix to facilitate iterative calculation, but also achieves three-phase together with real and imaginary parts decoupling to make use of a variety of measurements effectively and simply. Finally, the paper describes the design idea that how to implement the state estimation algorithm, and gives an algorithm flow chart to carry out the CIM-based three-phase state estimation of distribution network.
