Analysis of Cellular CDMA Systems under UWB Interference

Abstract

In this paper we analyse the behaviour of CDMA-based cellular systems to wideband interference and use these results to estimate the impact of ultra-wideband (UWB) radio interference on UMTS. Based on measurements confirming the analysis, we present the tools necessary to quickly obtain a system level view of the likely power increase caused by the interference
