A Case of Tongue Squamous Cell Carcinoma in a Chronic GVHD Patient after Bone Marrow Transplantation

Abstract

： Graft versus host disease （GVHD） can occur as a complication of bone marrow transplantation. Oral lesions associated with chronic GVHD have an increased underlying risk for developing cancer. We report a case of tongue cancer that recurred quickly after surgery in a patient with oral lesions associated with chronic GVHD after bone marrow transplantation for myelodysplastic syndrome.
