Qué significa “de nihilo condere"

Abstract

This text is an exhaustive investigation about the historical and theological devel- opment of the formula "de nihilo condere". This expression, which indicátes that God created out of nothing, has important metaphysical and biblical antecedents, but above all it accounts for the presence of a philosophical expression within the contents of faith. How should we understand nothingness? What does it mean that God created out of nothing? The explanations have varied, however, the point of arrival will be that the World has been created in God, because, as Saint Paul teach- es: in God we live, move and exist.
