Transmitarray antenna could be a potential solution to meet these demands. A transmitarray antenna combines the advantages of phased array antenna and lens antenna. For operational simplicity, waveguides operating in fundamental modes are chosen as the array elements. The geometrical and physical parameters of the transmitarray greatly influence the radiation performance of the antenna.
