Research on the SHCS is very promising, both from the point of view of studying the fundamental processes of the ontogenesis of hydrocarbons, and for predicting the hydrocarbon potential of deep strata and for searching for hydrocarbon accumulations in deep-buried horizons of the Earth's crust. Abstract

The study of superdeep hydrocarbon systems (SHCS) is of great importance for improving the fundamentals of forecasting oil and gas potential at large depths in the Earth's crust and for studying the generation, migration and accumulation of hydrocarbons. Research on the SHCS is very promising, both from the point of view of studying the fundamental processes of the ontogenesis of hydrocarbons, and for predicting the hydrocarbon potential of deep strata and for searching for hydrocarbon accumulations in deep-buried horizons of the Earth's crust.
