UNIVERSITY – MARKET RELATIONSHIP: KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER THROUGH PATENTS

Abstract

: The present study is based on the principle of knowledge transfer proposed by open innovation, which disassociates the place of production and exploitation of knowledge. The patents deposited by the 3 Brazilian universities that deposit the most patents are used as a reference. The article aims to analyze the knowledge included in the patents granted by these universities and explore the relations of knowledge transfer through them, thus contributing to the literature of the themes.
