Abstract

Liwath, or homosexuality, is a serious sin that is against the law in Islam.In order to deter those who commit liwath (homosexual acts), Islam also stipulates severe punishments for those who do so. The findings of this study indicate that the environment and the application of the law against liwath (homosexual) perpetrators, according to Qanun No., are the primary factors causing homosexuality. Sexual deviation is a sexual activity performed by a person to obtain sexual pleasure unnaturally. Other factors include psychosexual disorders in childhood, biological factors (brain and genetic disorders), sociocultural factors
