Abstract

Compactness, robustness and low-voltage operation are some of the characteristics that make silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) attractive for space applications. Signals recorded by SiPMs on board satellites must be processed and digitized minimizing the size, cost and power consumption of the electronics.
