The research approach used was descriptive qualitative and the research data were collected using library research methods. This study discusses the importance of learning methods in teaching and learning activities, which must be able to meet the needs of students according to their learning tasks. Especially in learning Islamic Religious Education, which aims to increase the faith, understanding, appreciation and practice of students about the religion of Islam so that they become Muslim human beings who believe and fear Allah and have noble character in personal, social, national and state life. In order to create learning objectives, educators must have creativity and innovation in learning, including methods that can meet the needs of children. Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relevance of the learning methods of Ibn Khaldun and Islamic Education.
