Abstract

An induction motor is one of the suitable motors for the electric vehicles. The induction motor used in the electric vehicles has been generally controlled based on the vector control method to obtain good dynamic torque response. A new discrete-time control algorithm has been developed by combining variable structure system (VSS) and Lyapunov design.
