Abstract

Organizational development is an increase the effectiveness and viability of the organization through application of knowledge of behavioural sciences. The aim is change of formal and informal structures, processes, work, skills and performance of people, and application of new technologies. Organizational development is used as an overall framework for permanent organizational change and is related to change management and innovation implementation. Organizational development is a purposeful process of change that aims to create an organizational environment for a prosperous knowledge organization.
