A Synchronous Current-Fed Switched Converter Module for Renewable Application

Abstract

An experimentally validated Synchronous Current-fed Switched Converter (SCFSC) module intended for roof-top solar application is presented in this digest. The 1 kW module is capable of converting 95 V to 380 V at peak efficiency of 97.1 %. The design methodology and component selection are presented along with the calculated power loss distribution.
