Abstract

This study proposes a symmetry-based forward vehicle detection and collision warning system (FCW) on smartphone. The proposed system identifies forward vehicle by shadow with vehicular symmetry. Through Bayes classifier tracking approach, it can reduce the error detection of image processing.
