Abstract

Compliance with harmonic limits at the point of common coupling (PCC) due to non linear loads is becoming a notable concern for all customers. IEEE 519–1992 Standard has specified certain limits for the harmonic currents and voltages. According to this, the users should limit harmonic current and the supplier should limit harmonic voltages. The harmonic currents and voltages injected at the Point of Common Coupling (PCC) by the end users and utility are to be within the limits, specified by IEEE Standards.
