Abstract

A B S T R A C T Friction stir welding is carried out on 6mm thick plates of Al 6082 alloy and mild steel, where various welding parameters like, tool rotation speed (rpm), welding speed (mm/min) have been optimized and a suitable range for all parameters is achieved.
