A 9-dial resistance ratio instrument capable of precise high ratio comparison of voltage or resistance (from 1/1 to 107/1) is describe d. Also described is the modifi cation of a 6-dial unive rsa l ratio se t to permit its additiona l use as a ve rs ati le ratio instrument.
