Abstract

In cyber world, protection of copyrighted data is catching its attention due to the availability of immense amount of data and its copies in digital form. An efficient and promising means of protecting these copyrighted data is “Digital Watermarking”. In this paper, hybrid techniques which is a combination of Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) are used. The hybrid combinations which are used to embed a watermark into image or video are DCT-SVD, DWTSVD and DCT-DWT-SVD.
