Analisis Kapasitas Landasan Pacu (Runway) Bandar Udara Internasional Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Terhadap Jumlah Penumpang Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

Airports are an important role in improving the level of the regional economy, especially the communities around the airport. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport is one of the air terminals located in Palembang City which experienced a decrease in passengers due to COVID-19. The purpose of this research is to analyze the number of passenger aircraft capacity and to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the number of passengers at the Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II air terminal. The analytical methods used in this study are quantitative analysis and direct review to calculate the volume movement of passenger aircraft. The results of the runway analysis at the SMB II International air terminal in the current conditions in July 2022 have increased by 83.33% compared to conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic In July 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic there were 12 aircraft operations that took off and landing in one day, while at this time as many as 22 aircraft operations carried out takeoffs and landings in one day.
