A centrifugal pump is used to build up pressure in the supply line. Requirements for the automation level of pumping units are growing, so the research topic is relevant. The centrifugal pump electric drive consists of an electric power source, an electromechanical converter, an executive device and a technological object. The electromechanical converter is a double squirrel cage induction motor. The executive device is a centrifugal pump. Technological object is a pressure pipeline that operates on the network without back pressure. The liquid head observer structure is based on the Luenberger observer. The article describes the dynamic characteristics of the electric drive reference model and the liquid head observer.
