Insulating films

Abstract

In this chapter an attempt is made to cover the various aspects of thin insulating films. The interest in thin films continues unabated because of the possibilities of obtaining a large variety of new and exotic materials and devices through thin film technology and the reduction in the consumption of natural resources inherent in thin film technology. The review is based on the literature abstracted in Physics Abstracts and Electrical and Electronics Abstracts and directly from papers published in various journals.
