Abstract
This paper introduced a miniaturization fan-shaped bow-tie antenna which fed by the cohesive micro-strip hybrid ring. And a backed reflection cavity is used to realize good unidirectional performance. The antenna is fabricated on F4B high-frequency board with the dielectric constant of 2.65. The measured results show that return loss (S11) is lower than -10dB in the operation frequency band of 6GHz to 9GHz, and the directivity radiation pattern in E plane and H plane are in good agreement with the simulation results. The design fully meets the requirements of the ultra-wideband antenna for the close range ultra-wideband radar.
