This research was held into two cycles, each cycle consisted of three meetings. The research data were divided into two major types namely, quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data were taken through reading comprehension test. The qualitative data were collected through observation, and field notes. The result of the analysis showed that the students grades improved after internet using. The improvement happened on each cycle at the research. The improvement of students’ reading comprehension scores were influenced by factors such as motivation, interest, and classroom atmosphere. Thus, it was concluded that internet using can improve students’ reading comprehension. The internet using  also increases students’ speed in reading comprehension that can be used by students of School of Foreign Language at Persada Bunda. Abstract

利用网络提高学生的阅读理解能力
本研究的目的是了解佩萨达邦达外国语学院第四学期学生使用互联网是否能提高他们的阅读理解能力。部分学生的阅读理解水平仍然较低或达不到考试合格标准。这项研究是课堂行动研究。本研究的对象为佩尔萨达邦达外国语学院第四学期的学生。他们由12名学生组成。这项研究分为两个周期,每个周期由三次会议组成。研究数据分为定量数据和定性数据两大类。定量数据通过阅读理解测试获得。通过观察和实地记录收集定性数据。分析结果表明,学生使用网络后,成绩有所提高。在研究的每个周期中都有改善。学生阅读理解成绩的提高受到动机、兴趣和课堂气氛等因素的影响。因此,我们得出结论,使用网络可以提高学生的阅读理解能力。互联网的使用也提高了学生的阅读理解速度,可以被佩萨达邦达外国语学院的学生使用。因此,建议佩萨达·邦达外国语学院的学生和教师在阅读理解教学中使用互联网。
