[Infant apnea. Its evaluation and treatment. III].

Abstract

The first part presents the clinical picture of the child with apnea and a hospital screening evaluation. The second part develops the treatment of the acute phase and the subsequent treatment of apnea. The paper reports then on the duration control of recurrent pathological apnea after hospitalization period, with monitoring at home and monitoring procedures for various categories of pathological apnea. The treatment of the apnea syndrome of obstructive sleep of the infant and the conclusions on the control of apnea are shortly presented.
