Bayer image enlargement using correlated color components

Abstract

The paper presents a method for enlarging images acquired by single-chip digital still cameras using the correlation among the color components. The enlargement is done directly on the Bayer pattern, obtaining better performance in terms of quality and power consumption with respect to the classical approach.
