Abstract

Solar energy is a renewable resource which is free of running cost and abundant in nature. The solar energy that is extracted using zeta converter can be used for store the battery and to drive Brushless DC motors for water pumping applications. Bridgeless DC motors fed from Photovoltaic cell through VSI (voltage source inverter) which has power from a dc link capacitor at the front end. Solar energy converted into voltage.
