AS NOVAS TECNOLOGIAS NO ENSINO DE ARQUITETURA: Memória e Cultura das Cidades

Abstract

New technologies are increasingly present and contribute to the quality and reliability of records and the preservation of the memory of cities and cultures. In the academy, the new languages encompassed by the inclusion of graphical programs in BIM platform (build information modeling) and generative modeling trigger a new reality in the project activities of the students of the course of architecture and urbanism. The research seeks to establish the importance of experimentation through new technologies,and portrays that the modeling process and the tangibility of components of wood for lighting control, using laser cutters and 3D printers stimulate students in the elucidation of form and geometry, being contextualized by means of “ cobogós ”, “muxarabis” and “arabesques”.
