Abstract

This paper deals with the synthesis of fractional order controllers for Two Inputs Two Outputs (TITO) fractional order systems. The controller parameters are computed by minimizing an objective function which depends on the desired closed loop characteristic equation. The design of the non-integer controller is based on the satisfaction of certain temporal specifications such that setting time and overshoot. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controllers, simulation results are considered for different closed loop performances.
