Abstract
Due to its ease of use, adaptability, and relatively low maintenance requirements, solar photovoltaics is at the pinnacle of its development and is assisting in the transition to a sustainable future. The depletion of fossil fuels and the impending danger of climate change are the major causes of the increase in demand for this energy source. Photovoltaic systems are highly regarded for their deployment benefits; however, they are limited by their poor efficiency and high cell density/module area requirements. Optical devices that concentrate the incoming radiation may significantly reduce the need for cells and modules and improve power production. This problem can be solved in this way. The low concentration photovoltaic module (LCPV) is also being combined with a thermal management system that limits the temperature of the cell or module to a certain range.
