Abstract
Understanding the importance of information network and ensuring the continuity of information flow in an organization require mature planning in designing information network architecture. The rapid development of information flow and information technology (IT) nowadays makes local government must react to the condition. Regarding this notion, data silo is used as a major concern in local government, where data is stored across the institutions. We aggregate all institutions in a local government in a single architecture to manage data and information traffic flow. This paper presents centralized design of information network architecture for Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) local government by controlling all the institutions of all HSS regencies. We construct the architecture by using network methodology and ADM TOGAF to support architecture stage. This centralized design of information network architecture is validated by using EACMM (Enterprise Architecture Capability Maturity Model) and the result is defined for architecture target. Through this centralized design of information network architecture, the local government could communicate and share the information to other institutions.
