Abstract

A microwave holographic-inspired metasurface antenna is proposed in this paper, which has the ability to create multibeam radiation patterns with independent beam steering. The design process follows the guidelines of holographic theory. The metasurface impedance modulation is generated by the superposition of each individual beam surface impedance modulation.
