The paper highlights the three main advantages of this automation, namely, minimizing waste generation, increasing productive time and minimizing defects. The concept developed through the research was applied to automate Weaving looms. Abstract

In many industries, the occurrence of short period power drops and fluctuations lead to many problems such as machine stoppage which increases amount of waste generation, product defects and reduction of productivity.
