Abstract

In recent years, many services have appeared that allow you to "digitize" routine, and the forced transfer of employees to remote work due to the pandemic has become a catalyst for automating business processes. However, in practice, this trend is not developing as fast as one might assume: studies show that every second company in Russia still uses Excel spreadsheets for workflow management. Automation is especially difficult to perceive in manufacturing companies, but there are exceptions. The article analyzes how automation helps to manage an enterprise with a staff of 10 thousand people
