Abstract

A Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) simulator for image quality evaluation is presented. This simulator can be used for the estimation of SAR image quality performance from the simulated raw data using different wideband signals. These signals are random noise, chirp and chirp-Gaussian (proposed) waveforms. In this paper, a mathematical model for these waveforms is introduced.
