Abstract

The rise of autonomous car control leads to more accent on infotainment systems. In a few years, a lot of infotainment features, which rely on the mobile network, will be offered to users. The majority of them are dependent on the mobile network Quality of Service (QoS). While in motion, one can expect different QoS levels which can impact the functionality of infotainment systems and the overall user experience. In this paper, we provide a proposal for a context-aware mobile network QoS prediction module that is ready for in-vehicle application. The main goal of this module is to use the predicted parameters to influence the operation of the in-vehicle infotainment to ensure a better user experience.
