In the case of the single notch, up to 10 dB gain reduction is achieved, with no significant impact on the antenna properties outside the notched band. Abstract
Single and dual band-notched antennas are designed applying U-shaped resonators to circular-slot UWB antennas, in order to attenuate interfering signals between 5 and 6 GHz.
