Abstract

To analyze online interactive systems, accurate historical log files are required which can support visualization of the changes in the characteristics of tile access traffic. It can be used to analyze system running behavior and users' interaction modes, to design better system performance and optimization methods. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to collect such highly accurate log file data. This paper has analyzed characteristics of users' access traffic for geospatial data (tiles), and based on log files of tile visits and mathematical statistical methods, constructed a mathematical model to simulate users' access data and studied the attributes of highly popular tile objects which have the great mass of access traffic. Simulation and comparison reveal the mathematical simulation model is credible to study the characteristics of users' access behavior for further optimization of the network geographic information system.
