Abstract

In many industries (such as pharmaceuticals, beverage industries, etc.), bottles are required to be filled up with a pre-determined amount of liquid. Implementing systems using relay logic control can cause them to be inflexible. Programmable Logic Controllers - PLCs - are more flexible in automating various processes, since the behavior of the system can be changed without changing the electrical connections, as well as being able to monitor the system undergoing its operation.
