Abstract

Abstract Accurate renewable energy (RE) data, such as solar, hydro, wind, and biomass resources data are important to assess for the proper sizing and life cycle cost analysis of RE systems technologies. A geoinformatics-based decision support system (DSS) called Renewable Energy Mapping Analysis Program (REMAP) was developed to build a wealth of geo-referenced data and information on RE resources in the country.
