The source of data in this study is a collection of short stories Titip Rindu untuk Ibu by Eidelweis Almira. Data collection techniques and tools used are in the from of documentation studies. Data validity testing techniques using persistance/agility, triangulation, and lot of reference. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusing drawing/verification. The results of this study about the form of struggle and the role of women in a collection of short stories Titip Rindu untuk Ibu by Eidelweis Almira. The form of women’s struggle contained in this short story collection is a struggle in the social, educator, and economic fields. The roles of women in this group of short stories are as mothers, wives, educators, and carries of offspring. Researchears have designed a laerning plan in high school that uses a collection of short stories as learning material especially for KD 3.3. analyze short stories, bot oral anda written and 4.3. interpret the meaning of short story texts both orally and in writting.
