Abstract
This paper is focused on a design of an interactive speech synthesizer and prosody modification of Slovak language. It contains analysis and module architecture design for the speech synthesizer with interactive learning system implemented for each module (phonetic transcription, phonetic transcription of abbreviations, word class identification, and prosody modification module).
