STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KOMUNIKASI PENYULUHAN TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA PETANI PADI SAWAH DI KECAMATAN TILONGKABILA KABUPATEN BONE BOLANGO

Abstract

This study aims to determine: the communication strategy of couseling in relation to the work motivation of rice farmers in Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency. This research was conducted in Tilongkabila District. This research was conducted in Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency from November to December 2021, The type of research used was a survey with a sample of 14 agricultural extension workers using purposive sampling technique and 41 farmers with a sampling technique using the slovin formula. The data analysis used in this research is SWOT analysis. The result showed that the strategy that the strategy that could be applied in the research area to increase the work motivation of lowland rice farmers meant that the focus of the strategy that must be carried out by farmers was optimizing weaknesses to avoid various threats, namely by re-activating takpotan, optimizing sources of irrigation water to overcome the problem of the rainy season, optimize the narrow land area increase the cooperation of extension workers with a combination of farmer groups to overcome the problem of pest and disease attacks.
