Abstract
The integration of distributed generation (DG) in the electrical systems of distribution (ESD), specifically photovoltaic (PV) systems, have taken increasingly greater importance with the passage of time. As the number of installations of PV is growing exponentially worldwide. Therefore, the level of penetration (LP) of the PV on the ESD must be quantified according to the situations and characteristics of each country and circuit following a series of simulations and certain studies. Studies can provide information about problems of regulation from voltage (VR), losses, power quality, among others. This article focuses on studying the impact that have the PV on power (PF) factor, especially in feeders and electrical substations (ES), in the case of Mexico.
